Where the Wild Things Are

No doubt the wild things are found outside! And outside is a place I haven't been to lately.. So my boyfriend and I took a little stroll around my neighborhood.
Please welcome the latest addition to me and my boyfriend's army of cutie-pies! Maybe you can recognize him? He is Rilakkuma's chick-friend. It was given to me for our anniversary, tee hee. I love the nostrils. I'm thinking of naming it Chickadee. Or Nostrils, perhaps.
These pictures don't show how cool the sky was. You could see the rays of light so clearly. I also find it so amazing when the sky is somehow is pink, purple, orange and blue at the same time.

I took a couple of pictures from the plants in my garden. I love squishing these tiny, red plump things. It makes such a nice blotch on the ground. As if a tiny tomato exploded, or popping a huge zit. Or something.

My boyfriend and I also met Abet, the cute Pomeranian! The person walking him told us he was owned by foreigners, and that he gets to stay in an air-conditioned room. What a pampered dog.
So that is the end of our wonderful day in the wilderness. Wilderness being any place that is not my room or a mall and has some, you know. Wild stuff. I hope you all had a great day yourselves!

On a less positive note, I recently got into a car accident. It was my first one. No one was injured, thankfully, however the gravity of it all has inflicted much stress on me. I can't sleep at night. Damn the driver that hit my car. DAMN HIM.

Afternoon Chocolate

Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend, because it's time to get our butts back to work.

Just loafing around my room with my camera, having myself a nice cup of hot chocolate, complete with some tiny, rainbow-colored marshmallows! And the second photo is of my current lip balm. I've seen it featured on several Japanese magazines and thought I should try it out. It tastes like sunscreen.

Anyway, I should be getting back to studying for my math test tomorrow. Wish me luck, I am in dire need of it.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Or if you're not into the whole superficial, couples-only day, then happy Single Awareness Day! Personally, I do think that Valentine's day isn't as meaningful as some make it out to be. But nevertheless, I spent last night preparing a gift for my servant-boy.

I'm honestly so crappy, I bought his gift only yesterday. While my boyfriend was there. In the store. A few feet away.
I told him to stay put whilst I hid the gift behind me and scurried off to the cashier. It's the thought that counts, right?

What is that mug doing behind the vase??

Earlier in the day, one of my friends told me that she didn't think that Valentine's day was all that special for her and her boyfriend; for them, it was just like any other day when they went out on a date. But I personally disagree. It's not everyday that my boyfriend buys me a rose. And it doesn't matter that it was a last-minute thing (just like my gift was). I would have kicked him if he didn't get me a flower.

Thank you Ander.

The Lumberjacket

Lumberjack + Jacket = LUMBERJACKET

I'm very clever with my wordplay, as you can see. Can you believe this handsome jacket only cost me Php 690? That's a little less than $17! I purchased this on sale from a little store called NAVA (previously called Babo, I believe). If I had more funds, I would have shopped for more stuff! Although I am trying my best to be as non-materialistic as I can. I've been spending a lot of money lately, and it isn't healthy to keep wanting things.

Oh! And this is also the jacket I'm wearing in this picture:

New hairstyle! What do you think? Don't I look rad and gnarly? I should buy myself a leather jacket and get on a motorcycle. Righteous.

The Elephantine Scarf

When I saw this scarf lying on my mother's bed, I couldn't help but take a closer look at it. I mean, how often do you find a scarf with elephants on them? It's so cute and silky. My mom noticed my interest in it and decided to give it to me, yay!

Now, what to do with it . . . ? Aside from staring at it, of course.

Hong Kong Disneyland Part II

A continuation of my Hong Kong Disneyland trip from my second photo diary~

It wasn't quite sunny that day, which was good because I could walk around the park without sweating like a dog's arm pit but bad because this picture would have turned out so much better if the sky wasn't grey.

The teacup ride looks so enchanting, doesn't it? It's like a festival in there.

Look how lovely this rainbow bokeh is! It's from my favorite ride..

Autopia. My poor nephew threw a fit when it started drizzling. He and his mom (my eldest sister) had to get his raincoat, but the usher wouldn't allow them to get back into their position in the line if they left. And he'd been waiting for an hour in line! Luckily, a kinder usher replaced that crap-face when they got back, and allowed him to enjoy the ride without another hour's wait.

Halloween-themed Mickey Mouse merchandise and decorations. Disneyland always has such great displays. I would have loved to see it during Christmas time too!

The scent of caramel and chocolate-flavored popcorn is enticing. Your nose can smell it from a few yards away. Couldn't resist buying myself a tumbler!

Why yes, I do have freakishly large hands. And no, I was not able to purchase that Stitch-be-bitin'-ma-head hat. I regret that decision to this day . . .

I want to hibernate like the trees.

If only life permitted me to do what I want. All I really want to do is draw, take pictures, paint, BLOG, but I feel like I can't. For some reason, time is passing by much more quickly, and I can't seem to find a moment of peace. Not to mention I have a glut of work to do in school. There always seems to be a test I have to study for, a paper due, a project to be done. And if I do have some time to myself, there is always the sound of a clock ticking at the back of my mind. I end up wasting my time being unproductive. Thinking of work is such a turn off. I want to rest.

Just a little preview of my Rilakkuma photo collection~

By the by, I am starting to get worried about how the Internets is becoming so irresponsible with copyright and stuff. I don't want my Rilakkuma pictures to be stolen! My preciousssss. I am considering adding a watermark to my unprofessional photographs. Weheartit is great and all, but I don't appreciate not being credited for pictures I've taken.
