How I Spent the Rainy Weekend

I can't seem to get enough of the mall recently (and I throw tiny tantrums when I don't get to stay as long as I want, or do what I want, sigh). Typhoon Falcon kept me inside for most of my weekend, and to be honest it sucked. I love the rainy weather, don't get me wrong, but gosh. The sewage in the Philippines is SO BAD that places tend to get flooded easily. Couldn't get to my usual hangout place since the flood getting there was too risky for the car. And what's annoying about it is that there was only one part getting there that was flooded. Dang sewage. Darn youuu.

Anyway, this is how I spend my long weekend. Taking pictures at the mall, being vain, getting bored and getting fat healthy.

Elle Fanning is Gorgeous

I've been raving about Elle Fanning for awhile. I think she's gorgeous --- she's got that mod, Twiggy look. I think that's partly what magazines like Marie Claire are trying to do with her look in some (most) of these photos. Gosh, to think she's only 13 years old! I hope she doesn't end up becoming like Miley Cyrus and the like. She's waaaay to amazing to go down that path, I hope.

A Beautiful Day for a Picnic.

Gosh, all these girls look like dolls! I feel pulling of these looks is a bit hard to pull off, or it is at least in my case. Sigh . . . Ha ha ha! There are so many trends in this collection: the florals, the floppy hats, lace and what-not. If I were to purchase things from Japan, I guess now would be a good time since the Yen is weaker, right? Oh, thinking of Japan depresses me.
